Basic Handgun 1: An eight-hour course that encompasses classroom and range time for the beginner shooter. The classroom portion covers topics such as gun safety, the fundamentals of marksmanship, handgun carry choice, ammunition and care and cleaning. At the range, we will cover basic live fire drills, drawing techniques, reloading and after action techniques. We will shoot a minimum of 120 rounds. Bring 150 rounds, your own handgun, at least two magazines/speedloaders, a belt holster and hearing and eye protection. This also includes the requirements for a gun safety class to obtain your Oregon and Florida concealed carry licenses. Call for more info. Cost: $125.
